Why our service set looks the way it does
We split flooring work into eight scopes, not three, because that's how Bellingham homes actually present. A 1920s Fairhaven Victorian doesn't have the same flooring problems as a 1980s Sudden Valley cabin or a 2010 Barkley townhome. The right material, the right prep, and the right warranty paperwork all change.
We test moisture before we price. We put acclimation time in writing. We carry manufacturer-certified installer status with the brands we install most. And we tell you when you don't need us, when a sand-and-recoat saves you from a full refinish, or when a 1900s plank floor can be repaired instead of replaced.
What's not on the list
We don't install pre-glued vinyl peel-and-stick over uneven subfloor. We don't do glue-down hardwood without proper substrate moisture readings. We don't lay over carpet padding or compromised plywood. There are flooring jobs that look easy on paper but turn into callbacks in 18 months, and we'd rather you hire someone else than do them wrong.
